Passionate, calm, but at the same time really hungry. I want to reach my optimal level – and for me the optimal level is being at the very top.
There are a few circuits I like – but if I had to choose one, it would be Silverstone.
Germany last season was great fun! It was so unpredictable – and that is what an F1 race should be like. Honestly, that was one of the best ever races, in my opinion.
Formula 1 98 on the PlayStation 1.
I always love the new editions when they come out, so hopefully I’ll love F1 2020 as much as I did F1 2019! I don’t actually have much experience on other racing games, as my goal was always to be in F1 Esports and the best way to do that was to master the F1 games from Codemasters. But the one I have in my heart is Formula 1 98 on the PlayStation 1. It was my first racing game and I always remember my first lap around Australia with my dad. That was what started my passion for Formula 1.
More or less every day. Sometimes I have a day off, sometimes I have a day with extra hours – but it’s my job. I work a lot of hours to be as prepared as I can be for the competition.
Normally listening to a bit of music. I try to change my playlist for every session – but if I have a good session, I tend to listen to that same music before the next one!
Lucas is a great guy. For me it’s important to have a teammate you get on with as a person off track as well as being a fast driver on track. I’m happy to work with him again and we’ll be pushing each other to our optimal level for the team. We’ll be ready to fight – and it will be a fight!
My minimum goal for the 2020 season is the top five in the Drivers’ Championship. It won’t be easy – you have to find a way to get everything together, with a bit of luck also. But I know I have the ability and I can promise I will do everything in my power to achieve it.
