    We have a new opportunity to be part of the Additive Manufacturing team in the role of Additive Manufacturing Technician (Late Shift).

    The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, proactive and have a ‘can do’ attitude.

    Purpose:

    Working on late shift in the ADM Team, the Technician will primary be focussed on programming and operating our various 3D printing machines. Machine maintenance, calibrations and post processing the builds to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy possible are also key skills required to fulfil the role.

    The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of additive manufacturing in a high-level motorsport environment, have a good attention to detail, work calmly and accurately under pressure, work positively and enthusiastically in a small team and have a flexible attitude to helping fulfil the requirements of the department and team as a whole. Additional duties may be required from time to time within ADM and the wider team, to meet the high demands of the test sessions and race car requirements.

    The Successful candidate must have the following attributes:

    - Competent programming of DMLS technology.

    - Competent machine operations for DMLS technology.

    - Experience of post processing metallic printed components

    - Basic programming on all types of 3D printing technologies (SLA, FDM, SLS, DLP).

    - Thorough understanding of machine calibration processes.

    - Complete appreciation of machine maintenance scheduling.

    - Methodical approach to machine operation.

    - Efficient post processing of model and full-size components.

    - Monitor and report stock levels.

    - Consider system wide continuous improvement.

    - Follow and improve on standard operating procedures.

    In this role you will be required to:

    REPORTING & ANALYSIS

    - Ensure accuracy of the monthly cost position in your area of responsibility via robust oversight of expected and actual costs.

    - Perform regular review of new and outstanding POs to monitor production spend in line with forecast; ensure POs are coded correctly and emerging risks/opportunities are captured and feed into rolling forecasting for the relevant cost centres.

    - Post the stock accounting entries and other prepayments/accruals for production as part of the month end process.

    - Perform variance analysis during and following the month end process for production cost centres, capturing key drivers for variances from forecast and highlighting risks and opportunities.

    Ensure all required inputs into the central FP&A team are completed accurately and to schedule, including variance and risk & opportunity trackers and quarterly forecast/annual budget inputs.

    - Ownership of the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and support with audit processes and ad-hoc requests.

    - Maintain robust records of all calculations/data inputs, including movements between forecast points to support agile reporting and trend analysis.

    - Support with data/analysis as needed for FIA cost reporting.

    OPTIMISING SPEND & DRIVING IMPROVEMENTS

    - Support the senior FBP with ad-hoc analysis to identify opportunities to eliminate waste and/or achieve efficiencies.

    - Perform cost-benefit analysis to support optimal decision-making.

    - Apply a continual improvement mindset to proactively identify further business partnering opportunities.

    TEAM

    - Work cohesively within the FBP team, applying a flexible approach and supporting each other to ensure all obligations are fulfilled accurately and to schedule, and all business stakeholders needs are met.

    - Provide cover for other FBPs during periods of absence.

    - Assist wider members of the Finance team with ad-hoc requests to support the business when required.

    Key skills:

    QUALIFICATIONS

    - a. CCAB studier (CIMA or ACCA) or AAT finalist

    EXPERIENCE

    - Management accounting experience (minimum one year).

    - Experience of business partnering desirable.

    - Ideally, experience of working within Formula 1 in a similar role.

    The responsibilities of this role are:

    - Focusing on management of internal events hosted at mostly, yet not restricted to, the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team HQ

    In this role you will be required to:

    - Set and operate both manual and CNC machines.

    - Visual inspection of components as well as using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres and gauges.

    We have a new opportunity to be part of the Quality Assurance team in the role of NDT Technician.

    Primary Responsibilities

    - To contribute to the NDT team’s support of the preparation of parts for AMF1’s race cars with NDT methods. This includes Ultrasonic Inspection, Eddy Current Inspection, MPI Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection and Visual Inspection.

    - Be available to travel as and when required to fulfil the requirements of the role in which employed.

    - To work proactively, responsibly, professionally, and confidently at all times. To respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure.

    - To maintain and develop skill levels to aerospace standard and maintain a current and thorough working knowledge of NDT methods.

    - Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role.

    Skills & Knowledge Required

    - Hold a minimum Level 2 NDT Qualification (EN4179/PCN).

    - Possess a thorough understanding of Ultrasonic Inspection, Eddy Current Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection and Visual Inspection.

    - Be able to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of A-Scan and Phased Array Ultrasonic Inspection, both handheld and immersion and Eddy Current Inspection.

    - Posses an excellent attention to detail and be able to adhere to company NDT specifications and procedures.

    - Knowledge of X-Ray and CT scan would be advantageous.

    - Previous experience as an NDT Technician in Formula One, high level Motorsport, or Aerospace would be beneficial.

    - Proficient in NDT report writing.

    - To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.

    - Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales and be able to work with minimal supervision.

    An exciting opportunity exists for a Vehicle Modelling Engineer to join the Performance Simulation Group.

    The current Formula One regulations heavily limit real world testing of a F1 car. This makes the role of unregulated simulation indispensable in the development and optimisation of many areas of a Formula One team, particularly in Performance Engineering, where the performance targets for the car design are generated, and the on-track performance of the current season’s car is understood and optimised.

    This role will be focused on the development of the Team’s performance vehicle models and simulations, for use trackside, in the simulator and in offline vehicle development settings. Our goal is to produce a portfolio of cutting-edge tools across all simulation use cases. The position will involve cooperation with Performance Development, Simulator Development, Performance Software, Performance Optimisation, Race Engineering, Aerodynamics, R&D and Mechanical Design functions.

    Responsibilities:

    - Development of advanced physical models of a Formula One car and its subsystems

    - Development of simulation algorithms that exercise the high-fidelity vehicle model to enable engineers to perform complex analysis

    - Researching new or alternative modelling and simulation methodologies to keep the department on the bleeding edge

    - Writing readable, maintainable, and efficient code

    - Communicating with other departments to deliver projects within the Team

    Candidate Profile:

    Competitive candidates will meet a range of the following criteria:

    - Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline (Masters/PhD preferred)

    - Strong problem solving and analytical skills

    - Motivated by finding creative and practical solutions to complex problems

    - Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team, and with minimal supervision

    - Strong interest in topics such as numerical methods, control theory, statistics, computational methods, and nonlinear programming

  • Senior Surface Engineer - AMPT

    The role:

    We are looking for Senior Surface Engineers - both permanent and fixed-term (contracting).

    - Working alongside an Aerodynamicist, the candidate would scope out and scheme high-end aerodynamic models from the foundation level. This would also include conceptual modelling.

    - The candidate would be expected to problem solve and work with Aerodynamicists and full-size designers to find surfacing solutions that satisfy the performance criterion, as well as other constraints that may be required by the project (e.g. cost/packaging/aesthetics).

    - The candidate will engage with key stakeholders (e.g. Head of Aero, Aerodynamicists) to drive surfacing best practices, and create robust surfacing models.

    Key Skills:

    -

    Although prior experience in F1 or high-end motorsport isn’t a requirement, it would be advantageous.

    - Experience with 3Dx/Catia is required, with version 20X or later being preferred.

    We have an exciting position available for a talented Strategy Engineer to join our team and directly influence our results.

    This role will support all FIA Formula 1 championship events. This will involve support from the factory mission control and will attend events trackside on occasion as part of the candidates ongoing development.

    The role will assist in the direction and development of the strategy group and methodology. The successful candidate will also be involved in conception and development of new tools used to optimise strategy; as well as ongoing improvement of existing tools.

    Event tasks will include session competitor analysis, tyre modelling, race modelling and optimisation of race pit stop strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for aiding in the selection of the best race strategy for one of the team's cars in each race. Routine tasks include in pre-event preparation, in-event support including live analysis and decision making as well as post event analysis.

    You must be a strong team player, with clear and precise communication skills, diplomacy and tenacity. The confidence and ability to make quick, data-driven decisions under extremely tight deadlines in a pressured environment is essential for this role. A strong desire to continually improve is also fundamental to this role.

    The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a logical and confident approach to decision making, taking into account all relevant information from other trackside departments. The successful candidate must:

    Have an excellent degree in engineering or mathematical based discipline; strong problem solving and mathematical skills are essential for this role. Be highly self-motivated, thrive in a challenging environment and have a flexible approach to working hours. Have an ability to work closely in a team and to tight deadlines. The successful candidate must have experience of data analysis and a strong understanding of statistical concepts.

    We have a new opportunity to be part of the Marketing team in the role of Video & Motion Graphics Producer.

    In this role you will be required to:

    - Motion graphics: create visually captivating motion graphics for use across multiple platforms for multiple audience – from factory screens for internal comms, to guest experience areas to entertain VIPs to social media content for fan engagement.

    - Video editing: utilise video and photo assets captured by the content team to edit dynamic, eye-catching content loops specifically for screens playout.

    - Content strategy: develop an audio-visual content strategy that engages specific audiences in specific locations with the right messages - i.e., employees, commercial partners, fans, etc.

    - Channel manager: own and operate the Content Management System. Upload content into the CMS, schedule, update, publish and broadcast live races via the in-built television channels.

    - Planner: develop and manage a full publishing plan across all physical screens.

    Key skills:

    - This individual must understand and be able to demonstrate impeccable content production capabilities. With a passion for sports and lifestyle, they will be required to think outside of the box by applying a progressive marketing and audience experience mindset.

    Excellent and proven career history in audio-visual management (or similar role) for a sports team or prominent brand.

    - An expert storyteller: knowing how to interact with specific audiences by optimising the content output and ensuring that all content meets the quality threshold of a luxury brand operating with human storytelling at its core.

    - Motion graphics: An advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects & Cinema 4D (or equivalent software)

    - Stakeholder engagement: demonstrating the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders, from senior leadership to operations, taking concepts from strategic briefs to execution and optimisation.

    - Proven experience of working within a creative organisation, where the focus is on getting the job done. You will have an instinctive knowledge of what a modern and relevant brand feels like and know how to engage internal and external teams to deliver it.

    - With excellent attention to detail, ensure quality and continual improvement across all output.

    Experience of costing production solutions and working with stakeholders (e.g. Guest Services, IT, etc.) on delivering requirements to budget.

    - Previous experience and responsibility in delivering video content for live events and managing the specification and delivery of technical solutions.

    - Proven experience of managing budgets, external agencies and freelance content creators.

    - Previous experience of working with external AV companies.

    - Proven experience of applying brand guidelines consistently and diligently.

    - Able to work independently, proactively and be a safe pair of hands.

    - Able to plan tasks, prioritise workload, determine capacity for yourself and other members of the team, and set expectations for delivery.

    - Outstanding organisation, project management and timekeeping.
