Introducing the brand-new SportPesa Racing Point hospitality building!
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is familiar territory to teams and drivers alike, featuring as it does in the vast majority of junior single-seater racing categories, in addition to serving as the long-term home of Formula One pre-season testing.
It’s only logical, therefore, that this circuit be the proving ground for the first wave of major in-season updates across the paddock, providing a solid reference point for engineering teams in their quest for valuable data comparisons.
But it’s not just fancy new aero tweaks and clever mechanical systems being put through their paces for the team this time out… we’re rolling out the brand-new SportPesa Racing Point hospitality building for its first weekend of active service!
Designed to offer the ultimate guest experience for team members, partners and media alike, our new home-from-home is split across three levels (including a VIP roof terrace!) totalling 800 square metres of luxurious floor space.
Incorporating full climate and lighting system controls, audio visual and IT capabilities, catering and washroom facilities, extensive hospitality space and much more, this unique structure normally takes two full days to build – but with double shifts, our ace crew can have it up and running inside 24 hours for back-to-back races.
And we’re kicking things off in style this weekend too, with more than 1,000 meals to be served from Friday to Sunday – in addition to around 1,000 glasses of BWT refreshments!
With the design process kicking off as recently as January this year, getting this impressive facility ready to open its doors in time for the opening European round of the calendar Spain is a truly incredible achievement, and serves as a strong statement of intent from the team in our ambition to deliver both on and off track.
Ready for the weekend? You bet!
